What's that Dr. mean?

There's a really big show
Airing now, you should know
With somebody
Who's pretty shoddy
But at least she has a go.

A 'doctor' she always claims
As part of her insidious names
A 'PhD' she truly did earn
About bones and joints she learned
But reliable advice from her defames.

Yes, her name is Dr. Laura
With a peculiar, stinky aura.
But let's really look
At some freedom she took
Those words she did not borrow.

She's hated so badly
By the left, who madly
Balks at her right
To think what she might
About gays and women, sadly.

Deviant is one of her words
That riles the defiant turds
Of the ones who claim
Her words create shame
In the egos of the younger birds.

But what does it mean?
Her word, crisp and clean.
Deviating, my Webster tells me,
Off the path laid out for thee.
So why are we acting so pristine?

Of course we veered
From the norms of our peers
The majority of them straight
But we have a different fate
That we beg them not to sneer.

Well, Hello? Mr. Smarty Pants
Did you hear your parents' rant?
To not go that way?
But no matter what they say
You determine that you can't.

Thus you veered off course
On the back of a different horse
How can you be so blind
Getting it in the behind,
And cry when there's no remorse?

You took a freedom here
to intentionally veer
And so does she
Choosing a word like "D"
But her freedoms you demand to clear.

Freedom is a two way street
So she says we deviate.
Well it's true, to technically speak
So stop telling me to call her a freak
Toughen up is the answer to truly make her weak.

Do not exercise your rights
To demand removal of others' rights
Or into the camp you fall
Of hypocrisy down the hall
Then you're in bed with them all night.
